5 Days and Counting!

'Til I am in New York!!!!!!!!! Yep I'm going to the Big Apple next thursday! I am going to be gone for a week to go visit my friend. Im going to be staying at her place and she lives only 3 blocks from Time's Square! The full day of my vacation (friday) my friend is taking off work, and plus it's her birthday so we are going out and par-ty-ing! Of course I'm going to do all the touristy stuff like statue of liberty, central park, empire states building, the met, cbgbs and of course try and be on good morning america! Anyone have any suggestions on any other places to go or eat?

Free Movie!

Today my deptartment gets to go see a movie. Yep our work is paying for us to go see a movie! Since we work with advertising campgrounds and RVing we are going to see the movie R.V. Today at 2pm we are going down to Century 10 and see the movie! Anybody want to join me?

No Deal!

There is this game on NBC called 'Deal or No Deal'. There is 26 suitcases with values up to 1 million dollars and the person has to pick out the suitcase they want. To start off they have to open a number of suitcases. Then they will get the a call from the banker that offers a price for the suitcase. If the lower dollar amount is taken out the higher the offer is but if the higher amount is taken out the offer is lowered. Then the person has to decide if its a deal or no deal, if he chooses no deal he has to open more suitcases. Then the banker will call again, then the person has to decide if he is going to take that amount or not. There is really no thinking to this game, you just pick a number. It is fun to see though. I cheer for the people cause sometimes they walk away with a good deal. Play it now!

Blockbuster or Netflix?

For about 9 months now I have had used blockbuster dvd online rental. I previously had Netflix, although i was happy with netflix, bb had enticed me with a deal that i wanted to try. With bb, you can have one instore rental a week. I have been semi-happy with bb. I like the fact you can go instore and rent but on the other hand the delivery of the dvd has been slow for me, sometimes not getting here til 5 days later. And another thing is that it says a dvd that i sent has been received but nothing has been sent out, it took one time 2 days for them to have it sent out after they were received. I think bb and netflix are the same price for their services but netflix has center in oxnard which means the dvd will be delievered faster. The closest bb mailing center is vegas. Although in my mind the best thing for me to do is switch back to netflix but do i really want to give up that instore rental? Help out with your comments...
