Giving up

I have recently have began a friendship with someone, right now I really want to give up on it. It is not progressing healthy. Frustration sets in when things go wrong and other emotions that aren't good for both parties. I wish I could easily say "I'm done with this!" But there is something in me saying don't give it up. Almost daily I saw I'm done with this but the next day roles around and it goes back to a normal friendship. Whatever happened to the days where you wouldn't give up on something you wanted? I want this friendship to work out but I don't like the feelings I have when things don't go well. I will just have to wait around for things to get better, maybe.....
