NY- Day 3
Since the previous night was a late nite, I woke up late the third day. We go to this cafe and get breakfast. I had a yummy breakfast burrito with hummus. We then take the subway so we could take the ferry to Staten Island. The ferry to Staten Island was free but I want to go to the Statue of Liberty but the tickets for the day were sold out and the next available one was for 8:30am the next day, which we were not too fond of that. But we take the ferry to Staten Island anyway. The view was great!  We even got to see the Statue of Liberty on the ferry ride.  We didn't do anything at Staten Island cause we really didn't know what there was so we just took the ferry back. Then got back on subway. We went to target cause I still had no luggage and the previous day I didn't get too much to wear. The lines at target were very long and it had two-stories, its weird to have an escalator for a shopping cart. There was not a lot at target I wanted so I also went to marshalls and old navy, I didn't get a whole bunch just enough to get me by for the week. We then get back on the subway and then go back to her place to rest for a bit. That evening we headed out to CBGB! Yep home of the ramones and many others. It was small and looked like a dump but it was very cool to know so many great bands had been there. It really looked like there had been a fire there and the building was still being used. There wasn't any one I've heard of playing but who cares, I was at CBGBs! I don't have any pics of the place cause I forgot to bring my camera but maybe Ill take a picture of me wearing the shirt I got there. That was my third day a very long but fun day!
