A Day of Relief Two years ago last August my uncle and his best friend was hit by a hit and run drunk driver. Just this week my family received justice for the killings. To this day it is hard for me to forgive that man who took away a great man but as time goes by there will be forgiveness. What his death taught me is that there is no question that drinking and driving is wrong and I will never do it no matter what. In the past few years there has 6 deaths that all have meant different things. It sometimes is hard to believe that God sees sin, whether it be driving drunk and killing someone or just lying to someone as the same in his eyes. It is amazing God's forgiveness covers everything you do. It is also amazing how man can forgive someone that killed a family member yet they have a hard time forgiving that friend talked shit about you behind your back. I just ponder on that sometimes, why do we choose to forgive some things but not other? I am just glad God didn't decide to do that..... Posted by: cynthia Time:9:06 AM | |
